It’s been a while since I had a regular (Saturday and Sunday) weekend so I had to make the most out of it by finally going on a brunch date with the girls. Since Buenos Aires Polo Club was completely full, we opted for Elephant Grounds on Star Street as our backup plan.
I know, I know. If you’re reading this post, chances are you’ve already been to Elephant Grounds before and wondering how a self-acclaimed foodie hasn’t been here yet. As a full-time foodie and part-time pastry chef, I should have made a trip here ages ago but I guess better late than never, right?
We ordered their eggs benedict, corned beef hash and the French toast. Our opinion on the food can be summarized in three words: mediocre at best. From their coffee to their food, nothing was extraordinary at Elephant Grounds. The only thing that made me want to take a second bite was their hazelnut cream served with the French toast.
