My friend sent me a recommendation for a restaurant that specializes in serving drinks and food made with green tea, hence the name “Maccha House.” Even though the restaurant serves regular food like udon noodle, I decided to order a few things from their green tea menu.
In general, I thought the things I ordered were pretty common. One of Maccha House’s most famous item is the green tea tiramisu. It did not impress me much because the taste of the green tea is not strong enough. I would have preferred it if the layer of cream was made with green tea instead of just topping the tiramisu with green tea powder.
If you want a better experience, I would recommend ordering the pancake dessert. I’m blanking out on what it is called at the moment but I’ll update this post on the name. If you click on the link below and look at the pictures, it will be the third picture. It’s a traditional Japanese treat* with red bean paste, green tea and vanilla ice cream, mochi, and green tea cream.
