Sorry for the late post on a Dine LA experience.  I went to Asia de Cuba, after my friend recommended trying their Dine LA menu.  Asia de Cuba’s menu is designed to share.  Among the six of us, we shared the appetizers and dessert and had our own entree.  After living in Los Angeles, I was accustomed to the big American portions for every meal.  Asia de Cuba’s entree portions are nonetheless.  All of us finished our meal full and satisfied.

  • View: Asia de Cuba is located in one of the boutique hotels on the hills of Hollywood.  Make sure to book a table by the window or to check out the spectacular city view.
  • Environment: I loved the interior design of the restaurant.  It’s a very great brunch-designed place!
  • Miso Glazed Salmon: Definite must try. I left the restaurant wanting more, even though I was already full

  • Chicken “Milanasia”: The chicken is supposed to be one of the dishes Asia de Cuba is known for.  I had such high expectations for the chicken but instead, I found it very dry.  I thought it wasn’t very special and tasted very normal.  It was almost like any other piece of fried chicken I had.

In general, I would revisit Asia de Cuba.  I would probably order the Miso Glazed Salmon again but try some of the other dishes.  I might try something from its brunch menu too.  It turns out that they have a Sunday Brunch Buffet, priced at $49 per guest.  The menu can be found here.

Happy eating,

Joey Wong ♥
